Health Testing on Parents
The foundation of a healthy puppy starts with healthy parents. Before any of our dogs enter our breeding program, they undergo comprehensive health testing:
- OFA hip and patellar evaluations
- Comprehensive genetic panel testing (PRA, DM, vWD, and breed-specific conditions)
- Cardiac evaluations on parent dogs
- Annual veterinary wellness exams
- Current on all vaccinations and preventatives
What's Covered
Our 1-Year Health Guarantee covers diagnosed genetic and congenital conditions that significantly affect your puppy's quality of life. This includes conditions such as:
What's Not Covered
Our guarantee does not cover conditions that are environmental, preventable, or related to care after the puppy leaves our home:
- • Parasites, viruses, or infections (parvo, kennel cough, giardia, etc.)
- • Injuries, accidents, or neglect
- • Allergies, food sensitivities, or skin conditions
- • Umbilical hernias, undescended testicles, or mild patellar luxation (Grade 1–2)
- • Conditions resulting from failure to follow veterinary care recommendations
Required Steps to Maintain Your Guarantee
To ensure your health guarantee remains valid, we ask that you:
Vet Visit Within 72 Hours
Take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pick-up for a wellness exam. This protects both you and your puppy.
Keep Vaccinations Current
Follow the vaccination schedule recommended by your veterinarian, including boosters and rabies.
Spay/Neuter by the Recommended Age
Have your puppy spayed or neutered by the age specified in your contract (typically 6–12 months).
Provide Proper Nutrition & Care
Feed a high-quality diet, maintain regular vet visits, and provide appropriate exercise and enrichment.

If at any point in your dog's life you are unable to keep them, we ask that you contact us first. We will always help rehome a Country Lane Doodles puppy — no questions asked. Our puppies are family, and they always will be.
