Puppy Deposit

A $500 deposit reserves an available puppy or your place in an upcoming litter. On a puppy that's already listed it's first come, first served — the first deposit we receive for that puppy takes them off the market.

A $500 deposit reserves the puppy you choose, or your place in an upcoming litter. It is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another puppy or a future litter on a case-by-case basis, and it always applies toward your puppy's total price.

One firm limit on transfers: a deposit cannot be moved to a future litter once your chosen puppy reaches 6 weeks old — that leaves too little time to find another family before go-home at 8 weeks.

If you're reserving a puppy that's already listed, please don't wait! Placing a deposit immediately marks that puppy as reserved and takes them off the market. We do not hold puppies during your decision process — if you're still thinking it over, another family may reserve them first. There is no pick list and no pick order: whoever's deposit reaches us first gets that puppy.

Reserving a place in an upcoming litter? A litter deposit reserves your place in that litter or pairing — it does not claim a specific puppy, because there aren't individual puppies to claim yet. Puppy selection happens after the puppies are born, once Sara has had time to evaluate the litter and see how each one is turning out, so she can help match you with the puppy that fits your family. Litter size, colors, and sexes can never be guaranteed in advance; if a litter doesn't bring the right puppy for you, we'll talk about moving your deposit to another litter.

Please include your name and the puppy's name — or the litter you're reserving a place in — in your payment note so we can match your deposit to the right one.

Reserves the specific puppy you chose, at whatever age they are — newborn or nearly ready to go home — or your place in an upcoming litter, with your puppy chosen after the litter arrives.

Applies toward your puppy's total price. It is not an extra fee.
Is sent directly to Sara by Venmo or Zelle — no third-party processor and no added fees. We confirm every deposit by hand and email you once it's recorded.
